Audio Geography has been the technological outlet of Tyler Bisson since 2002.
Though the early days were focused on playing instruments, quality sound was always a concern. Tyler was always the one in the band to run the PA system, or record the bands demos. At some point in 2009, it became possible for Audio Geography to service other local bands. Tyler's Berlin, CT basement was fit for the job for a while, but eventually became too small. A prolific summer was spent in New Britain, CT in 2010, though the space was short lived.
Through graduating with a BA in Sound Recording Technology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Tyler broadened his skills as both an engineer and performer. Intimate familiarity with the recording studio as the talent and engineer have opened up countless possibilities for Audio Geography.
In 2012, Audio Geography set up shop in Bethel CT, cohabiting a studio space with Dietrich Schoenemann of Complete Mastering and Distribution.
The studio was situated in Tallahassee FL from 2016-2021 where local and regional bands blended well with the steady online clientele.
Currently working in an independent space in Providence, RI Audio Geography is operating at full capacity and looking forward to the future.
